What do you mean developer option? Do you mean the developer extension that allows you to build an .exe file from your database and install it onto other people's computers?

If so, maybe this will help.

There is no Developer tab in Access, if that's what you're looking for. All of the VBA options are exposed on the Database Tools tab.

If that's not what you're looking for, then please provide a more detailed question.

He might be referring to an Excel spreadsheet that has a built in developer tab that allows you to identify msoImages for 2007 ribbons. But I've never seen it in Access, and only in that one Excel spreadsheet. It's a common download with the CustomUI tool.

All Office products except for Access have the Developer tab built in- you just have to enable it. It's a native feature.

Thanks. There's a wrinkle for my brain. And now since I've learned something today, I can call it a success. And all before lunch.

Sorry, it's called Thread Tools, not Thread Options.
