New to forum, need help

I've been given the task of creating a interactive powerpoint presentation. This presentation is linked to a excel spreadsheet and that part is fine however the spreadsheet needs to be updated with information during the presentation.

I don't have too much experience with this and there does not seem to be too much help from Mr Google.

I've got a textbox and a button but no sub routine. If anybody could give me an idea of the code to insert from the textbox to the presentation to overwrite the data already in that cell that would be a great help.
