Solved: Sumproduct calculating total incorrectly due to date

    Hi,

I have tired for a few days but unable to work it out -

the amount of times CarandRoad appears between
    29/06/2010 - 31/06/2010 = 359

    when i use the date
    29/06/2010 - 04/06/2010 = 339 it should still be 359

Could anyone explain why this is happening and what i'm doing wrong.

    Regards

    Nurofen

Looking at the individual results, they seem to be correct.

The one you mark as incorrect looks fine to me, I pivotted the data and got that answer, but the other seems to be counting 5 too many, the five in July 2010.

Your problem is that June 31st does not exist and is treated as text by XL

Exactly, but the OP thinks that one is correct and the other is not!
