    copy filter cells

    I usually have 30 or more records visible shown in column A using an autofilter. I want to copy the first ten cells and paste to another workbook. thank you.

    Untested ('cos I think there are differences between xl2007 and xl2003):
    Select the top ten lines, then press F5, click Special.., choose Visible cells only, OK, then press Ctrl+c to copy, move to your other workbook, select a cell and press Ctrl+v.

    Select the top ten lines, then press Alt+; and then Ctrl+C, and then goto other workbook, select a cell and press Ctrl+V
