    Help with R1C1 notation?

    how can i understand this line"
    "=RAND()*(R2C2-R1C2)+R1C2"

    and how i can adjust this formula to anther ranges?

    This is just RC notation

    R2C2 is euqivalent to $B$2, that is row 2, column 2, and absolute.

    R[-2]C[-2] refers to the relative value of the cell tow rows above, two columns left.
