i saw but it not what i need what said i need a combo box to be connected to to column "A" and the filter will work by selecting the data from a combo box
i can not attach any samples because i do not know how to do this
Click on Go Advanced | Manage Attachments and upload the file, or image.

I have been to the site reccomended by XLD and believe that you can filter quite easily using this method. Do you require the listbox because the user will not remember what to search for?
