    Formating lines in table/pivot table

    Hi,

Is there any way to format only the visible lines in a table or pivot table, the grid lines having been toggled off?

E.g. a pivot table can have boxes of different sizes depending on how many elements are placed in the row area. Select All > Format > Borders will apply to the regular grid rather than the borders that are showing.

    Many thanks.

Have you looked at the AutoFormat settings for pivot tables?

Where are those settings? The only Autoformat reference I can find is under Table Options, which is just a tick box.

    • Click anywhere in the pivot table
    • Select Format | AutoFormat
    • Choose your format
