Tool or editor require for understanding return value of each argument of so many nes

    Dear Valuable member,
Is there any tool or add in that can help us to understand the complex formula in excel.
i.e it shows the step by step return value of the each argument of the function.

    Please advise!

    Rgds,

    Try F9.

Select part of the formula to evaluate and F9.

Well, I suppose it's what you're used to, I could highlight parts of the formula and press F9 and get similar info. I use it when a formula stubbornly returns an error and I want to know where that error is introduced.

It also shows the order in which calculations are done in a formula, 'though I wish it had a back button instead of just moving forwards with the Evaluate button.

I have always found it unhelpful, because it evaluates the the true path, which I is rarely why I am looking at a formula. I can do that with F9, as well as looking at False path elements.
