Excel macro help

I have some excel sheets in a specified folder and I want the data only from minmaxaverage tab. This tab is a pivot table.
What I want is a macro which will check all such sample excel sheet, minmaxaverage tab and put the average of total transaction time for 'LogService Latency' in a new excel sheet and one of the columns should indicate the sheet name.
LogService Latency 'average time for that' Sheetname
in a new excel sheet
can we run macros on pivot table data

You can, but is easier to run it on the source data if that is available.
