    Input restriction

    Hi there,
well, someone can help me about this topic ?
I need a simple macro that detected some cells on my sheet (eg. A1, C3, D4, F9), does not allow me to put there a determined string. ( eg "John".
May be it says : John is not allowed, try again
It will be a sort of input control.

    Thanks in advance

If you have a list of valid inputs then you can use Data >> Validation >> List.

Why would you want to if you can avoid code?
