Solved: Set the Data / Group and Outline / settings..

Hi

I've a Macro which groups lots of data & another which ungroups, all of which work fine. However the other day I noticed the grouping was happening from the bottom not the top as usual.

Somehow the "Summary rows below detail" box in settings was ticked. What I would like to know is if there is some code which I could add to the Macro to ensure this setting was unticked before the code ran.

Try unsetting it whilst turning on the macro recorder. See what code you get.

Thanks for a brilliant answer. I record lots of Macros then mess around with them to make them do what I want. I've never tried with settings so a big learning point.

It worked perfectly, another problem solved, just two more to go & I've finished this project.
