Getting time-stamp every 5 seconds
Hi,
I use Express Scribe 5.13 (an audio/video playback software) and I need to get the time stamp every 5 seconds in the Word document (Office 2003). Is there some option where I insert the time stamp automatically (checking the current position of the audio for a 5 or 0 ending) and insert it into the document?

lynnnow,
Answers to the following may help the lurkers and gurus help you.
How does Express Scribe 5.13 connect with MS Word? Are you using DragonSpeak or some other product that does speech-to-text conversion? Where is Word looking to see the 0 or 5 that you want to use as the flag for capturing and writing the current time as a timestamp to Word? Since I've never used either of those other two products (ES or DS), what happens to speech (an it's text) during the interval while the timestamp is being generated and inserted/placed?
Cheers,
