macro security levels for a particular macro

    Hi,

I know that we can adjust the macro security levels for all macros, by:
Developer --> Macro Security --> Macro Settings

    However, I have 2 questions:

    Question1:
How can I adjust the security levels for a particular macro?

    Question2:

What is a digitally signed macro mentioned in Macro Settings?

    Thanks

Digital Signature is a signature of the publisher for Office products, you can set the macros setting to be accept all the macros published by a particular publisher. But in my experience hardly anyone uses digital signature.

    Answer1:
You cannot adjust the security levels for a particular macro (You cannot lower security level). Microsoft made it this way to protect its users, and eventhough it might be problematic in your case, it is a good protection for the average user.

With a workaround it can be made possible(Albeit it might not be a universal solution as it requires application.sendkey command), but for that you already need low security(or medium and allow macro's). As it is beyond me why anyone would like to change the security levels to a higher level for any particular macro, I doubt that would be of use.

Since I have no idea what you want to do or why you want the security level to be changed, I cannot give you any other solutions for your problem.

    Answer2: See nepotist
