Hello,
I have a large amount of data that I receive with timesheets each
week. I am currently using many, many vlookups and pivots to achieve
the results that I need. My goal is to get the resource data by hours and spend, by month and project. Please take a look and let me knowif you can help.

I am struggling to see what you want here. You already have the first formula which seems fine, just carry on it that vein. How is variance calculated?

I 'm not concerned about the variance, however I need to calculate the data with an additional criteria of different projects under the projectinvestment column.

I attached another file with the project codes. So for instance, I will need to have each resource, spend, month, and under project/investment, filter one bucket which consists of the following: IT Core Plan - Service Desk Incidents

I need to get the sum of each resources spend, by month, and project. A bucket may consist of several projects, as listed in the prior post.

For example:

Resource x Month X Project X Spend

once again we run into the same issue. There are now 116 unique entries in the Project Investment column. How do you plan to associate these with the expense buckets?
