Text in a Triangle Drawing Object

If I place a triangle drawing object on a spreadsheet in excel 2010 and put any text in the triangle and then rotate the triangle up side down I can't change the text orientation to be right side up. You can adjust by 90 or 270 degrees but not 180 degrees. I've tried it manually on the spreadsheet and with vba code in a module, and it seems that it isn't possible. Anyone else had this issue? Help!

Welcome to the forum!

That is not an option. Try overlaying an activex textbox control. A drawing tools textbox control can be rotated in any direction. Group your objects if needed.

I was able to find this work around.
Select text inside Triangle and right click on
Format Text Effects
3-D Rotation
adjust Rotation Z: to 180 degrees

And it works. However the text font changes to a 3D effect and looks likes it's bolded, so I guess it's a small price to pay for making the text right side up.
