    Congratulations to Mr Excel!

On behalf of all of the staff at VBAX, I'd like to extend a big Congratulations to Bill Jelen (aka Mr. Excel)!

Bill has just been advised by Microsoft that he will be
a Microsoft MVP for the upcoming year.

Being bestowed with the Microsoft MVP award is a great honor, and one that Bill most assuredly deserves. His dedication to Excel is incredible, what with one of the most successful Excel messageboards at MrExcel.com, authoring and publishing numerous books, and participating in live chats, radio and TV shows.

We are fortunate to call Bill a great friend of VBAX, and have very much enjoyed his generous participation in our chats, and most recently sponsoring our KB contest!

Please join me in congratulating Bill on his recognition!

    Way to go, Bill!

Many congratulations Bill - way to go!

    Talking

Hey everyone! Thanks for the great comments.

It is good to be recognized by Microsoft. Actually, I am glad that they are recognizing people who participate in forums other than the Microsoft forums. That helps lend credibility to all sites like VBA Express, MrExcel, Experts Exchange and others.

While I hate to use this opportunity for shameless self-promotion, I am practically giving stuff away over at the MrExcel store through the end of Wednesday. To celebrate my MVP status, Holy Macro! Books is letting everyone buy at the employee discount (50% off) for one day only. For some great savings, visit http://www.mrexcel.com/mvpcelebrationsale.html

Thanks again for your great comments. I appreciate them.

    Bill,

Nice to see and my (late) congratulations

It's good to see that MSFT have recognised the fact that there exist other good non-MSFT online resources as well.

Now we are waiting for the next step, MSFT finds out that there exist also non-english online resources.
    Kind regards,
    Dennis
