Cool Sleeper: Select column and row(s) and change format

This is my first post so forgive me for any silly mistakes.
I have a sheet contain a list if training session from H1 to IV1.
In column A (a8:down) it has the list of people.
I was hoping to use a Userform with two listBox(s) to ask the user to select the Briefing and the staff who attended and and it would change the cells at the intersection from NO to YES. I have managed to select Rows or columns but not both together.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank You in advance:

What do you have so far? Do you have the userform, does it select the Briefing and staff okay?

Can you post your workbook as is?

XLD, Sorry should of attached it first time.
This is the page i'm stuck on ( all the rest removed to save file size) i have left the userform selecting the column. I used something very similar to select row just can't work out how to combine them both. Hope this helps. RR

The selection on the second list can select name/ Staff number anything as long as it identifies the staff member. I had it set to staff numbers just for a test, it can select Name.
