Current environment is Office 2003 with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro installed.

I want to save an email as a PDF file. I've been experimenting with the Outlook.MailItem class and saw the SaveAs method. However there is no option to save as a PDF. What is the best way of going about this? Printing to file? Creating an adobe object? Or is there a method of the MailItem class i'm overlooking?
