Add up values of different optionbutton groups

Hi guys,

I am struggling with the following issue.
I have 3 different option button groups with 5 buttons for each group. I want to use them like a scale from 1-5 with 5 graduation options. So first, I have to assign a value for each option button. How can I do this?

Second, I have to add up the selected option buttons from each option button group. Can you give me advice how to program this with VBA in Powerpoint?

I unfortunately have no clue. I attached a picture how it should finally look like.
