group and hide blank space

This is probably a simple problem but I cant figure it out.

I have a table on a spreadsheet that is filled in by a sql query. the result is pasted into cells B30:F and the row is however big the result set is.

I want to group the rows below and hide them. So if the result set pasted in is from B30:F39 I want to hide rows 40 to 82 (since this is how far down it goes.
