Color Entire row based on the date

    Hi,

I'm creating a register for my library, for which I need a macro code.

In my register there is below mentioned column.

DEPARTMENT/ DESIGNATION/ Doc NO-Identification/ Description Of Document/ Issue Date/ Tentative Date of Return/ Actual Date of Return

    help required:

when I issue any book to anyone I fill all the details in above mentioned column. There is three important column <issue date, Tentative date of return and Actual return.>

at the time of issue any book I fill the date in Issue date and Tentative date. now I need a macro code which highlight the entire row if the tentative date goes above the today date.

Second: when I fill the actual return date in <actual retun> column macro change the row color with different color.

    hope I clear my query.

Just use conditional formatting, no code required.

Hopefully the attached file is what you want. I have inserted some sample dates to test. I used conditional formatting as xld suggested.
