Question Unable to edit cells in excel

    Hello.

I am facing the following problem:

When working on a specific sheet and trying to edit the content of a specifict cell (by Double-Clicking it or by <F2> key), it's contect is being deleted.

I do perfom, by vba, some checks of this specific cell, but none of these checks delete it's content.

Do you have any idea why the content of the cell is being deleted when wishing to edit it?

    Thank you.

If you open the workbook and disable macros does the problem persist?

Yes. I disabled the marcos of Excel startup and the problem persists.

However, I did pay attention to the following: this problem occurs only when the sheet is protected. When removing the protection, I am able to edit the problematic cell.

I see. The cell protection is set to Unlocked and Hidden. Uncheck the box for Hidden and you will be able to edit the cell.

    Format | Cells | Protection
