Autocad 2013 lt and excel 2013

Here is my the problem. I have AutoCAD 2013 LT (lite version no VBA) and Excel 2013. I am needing excel to open AutoCAD and extract some data. Each string of text will have a unique identifier if needed. If a unique tag is not needed it will make the work on the AutoCAD end easier.

What I am trying to get data from AutoCAD and put it in excel.

    No lisp either
The only option I can think of is to save the drawing as a dxf file and extract the TEXT or MTEXT strings from that. If this seems like a viable option let me know and we can go from there.

It depends what kind of data you're trying to produce, but you could use the dataextraction command to create a table. That's how I do my BOMs.

    AutoCAD on windows parallel

Possible to run AutoCAD on windows parallel? If I were to get a MacBook Pro, would it be possible to run AutoCAD, or other engineering software, on my Mac through the Windows Parallel window?
