Link word table to excel
Hi all,
Can someone please help, I need to link a table from word into an excel spreadsheet, however when I paste special so as to link the data does not go into cells however in a table format on top of the cells. The original tables are in word and I can't change them to excel.
In other words can I paste into cells and then link, need the excel cells to update when another person changes the table data in word.

rather than select/copy the table in Word using the top left little square with 4 arrows in it, select the table by selecting multiple cells (or multiple columns (multiple rows doesn't work)), then copy, move to Excel then paste-special, Text, and use the option Paste Link.
