Thread: Circular Reference Error

    Circular Reference Error

The formula in column "F" is causing a circular reference error. Is there a different formula I can use that I can substitute or maybe a VBA that I can used to fill this task? What I'm trying to achieve is put whatever value in cell "G1" into column "F" if column "G" has a number greater than zero (0). I've attached a sample book.

    Thanks for your assistance.

For the first of the circular references, replace G8 in the F8 formula with the contents of the G8 formula. Edit the rest in a similar way.

Using some named ranges could make the formulas in the sheet easier to understand.

By the way, snap on our join dates!
