    Hi Guys:

    I am new in VBA world, I hope I can learn something from this website.

    I am currently working on an excel file needs to be encrypted to prevent end user spreading around. I hope the file can be only open on one PC and in a certain period (for example, 30 days).

    If you guys have any knowledge about this, please let me know. Thanks

    welcome to VBAX. pls open a thread in the appropriate forum, in your case it's Excel Help. clearly describe your requirement. before opening a thread, i recommend you search the topic in the VBAX forums and google it as well.

    1) Posting Code

    (or paste your code, select it, click # button)

    2) Uploading File(s)
    Go Advanced / Attachments - Manage Attachments / Add Files / Select Files / Select the file(s) (multiple files can be selected while holding Ctrl key) / Upload Files / Done
    Replace company specific / sensitive / confidential data. Include so many rows and sheets etc in the uploaded workbook to enable the helpers visualize the data and table structure. Helpers do not need the entire workbook.

    3) Testing the Codes
    always back up your files before testing the codes.

    4) Marking the Thread as Solved
    from Thread Tools (on the top right corner, above the first message)
