    Custom Animations

    Hi All,
Not been about for...well, a very long time and yes I'm after something
I have a powerpoint -very simple, no vb in at all, it simply uses custom animations to start and stop a spinner on an action button. Because I have the spinner set to end of slide it stops at a random place each time. I have uploaded this to tes (a teaching site), and it has been recently downloaded by someone in canada -I'm in uk. The spinner stops at the same place each time, and so does not generate a random statement. The user has a mac with powerpoint 2008 for mac.
I have tried saving as a couple of different types but no change. I have 2003, 2013 -and would set up a step by step for her to set up the animations for herself -however, not having the 2008 version, there may be differences in screenshots.
    Am I missing something obvious?
    Any advice appreciated
    Thanks
    Baz

Macs do not fully support triggered animations. You cannot even create them on a Mac AFAIK but most will play if created on a PC. The key word is "most"

I'm not really a Mac expert so I'm not certain this won't run in 2008.

If you want to check with experts this is a good place

Thanks again John. I'll check this out now. I remember you where always there to haul me out of the hole I'd dug for myself last time here.
    Thanks
