I know i can use ActiveSheet.ShowDataForm to get an inputform to edit a list on my spreadsheet

My question is is this form in anyway editable?

    Cheers

John Walkenbach has written his own version of the built-in Excel data form here, which you can download:

Yes it is possible, but you can't customize the existing one.

So I assume I can just create a userform to navigate my data etc as I do normally then add a menu item and save it as an addin, or is there a simpler way of creating a data form?

Just added an example DataForm here.

    http://www.excel-it.com/workbookdown...kdownloads.htm

You can add, delete amend items. Also, Find specific items - listing multiple instances
    Hope that helps.
