How do I add axis labels to bar chart bars?

Hello,
I'm using Office 2010 and I've seen where people add their horizontal axis labels (January, February, etc) to bar chart bars. I know how to add data labels but I want to add axis labels instead. How do I do this?

I figured it out. The trick is you have to add a data point, then select Format Data Label, then align it vertically, then select category rather than value
