Shall i have a macro to compare 2 different word documents word after word. The current compare feature in 'View' menu not highlighting all the deviations even if there are changes at character level or at line level.
Using Word 2010 I've had good results with the [Compare] function on the [Review] (not 'View') tab. I think we're talking about the same thing.
There is a [More] button that allows you to "Show Changes at ..." the Character Level
That's the best Word has to offer, but you don't need a macro for it
