Using documentbeforesave() question

There are 2 things that I want to do but am not sure if it is possible. First when I use documentbeforesave(), is it possible to do a check and determine what type of save was chosen? So I want to check if SaveAs, Save, or Auto save was selected.

Second is it possible to stop a command from running. Like I want to run save then do something, but not run save again.

I used to use FileSaveAs() and FileSave(), but those are not working in office 2013. So, I need to find another way to get it to work.
