Importing data tables from the WEB

Hi everyone,

I just subscribed to the forum and am eager to learn more about VBA. Right now i am feeling completely lost and do not know where to start.

To start off, I would like to extract data tables from the web or if that is possible single cells from a table which is located in the web. I have different account numbers which are listed in one column, for example 206001568XX and i would like to display for each account number the respective dates drawn from the table in the internet (see example below). Any help on this is highly appreciated.

Did you try webquery ? (Menu / Data / from the web ...)

yes, but it gives me an error telling me the text of the string is too long
