    How to filter multiple values

    Hello,

    I have a sheet wherein one column have multiple set of values, i was wondering how to filter for a unique value. Can someone help me out here. An example is given below. Client-Regions column have multiple set of records in single cell, say if I want to filter on "New York", how to do it. Thanks!

    Client - Regions
    New York
    New York, Canada
    Brazil
    Brazil
    Brazil, New York,Canada
    New York, Brazil

    have you try using a FILTER then set a criteria of CONTAINS New York?

    Yep, i got that. But is there a way to display just "New York" and to exclude or hide other text in that cell?

    filtering makes rows visible whose cells in filter column meet the auto filter criteria, and does not change the cell contents and ws structure.

    clear unwanted content from cells in auto filter range.
    you can copy the auto filter range to some other location and remove them in that location as well.

    Go Advanced / Attachments - Manage Attachments / Add Files / Select Files / Select the file(s) (multiple files can be selected while holding Ctrl key) / Upload Files / Done
    Replace company specific / sensitive / confidential data. Include so many rows and sheets etc in the uploaded workbook to enable the helpers visualize the data and table structure. Helpers do not need the entire workbook.

    3) Testing the Codes
    always back up your files before testing the codes.

    4) Marking the Thread as Solved
    from Thread Tools (on the top right corner, above the first message)
