Solved: Help with number format in Word.doc

    Two questions.
    I. I put numbers received to a table.
    Original numbers are 123, 456.78, 67890.56, -555.13. And I would like to change them to $123.00, $456.78, $67,890.56, $(555.13).
II. How I could change to row width within a table.
    Thanks.

    1. Since you do not state where these numbers are coming from....the answer is:

Check the first character. If it is NOT a minus sign, add a "$" in front of them; and if it IS, remove the minus sign and add "$(".

    2. Do not understand what you are asking. Change WHAT to row width? Or are you asking how to change the row width?

Do you need to do any arithmetic with the resulting number? If you do then you'll need to remove spaces from WITHIN the number before you process it.

    Thank you for the suggestion.
