Center text vertically inside a combo box or textbox

Is there a way to center the text vertically inside a combo box or textbox? The only way it can be done is making the box narrower; However, if I want to make the combo box or textbox wider, then the text appears closer to the top of the box. Is there a way to set it so that it sits in the middle but left aligned? Thank you!

Other than inserting leading line feeds, no, there is no vertical alignment property for a ComboBox or TextBox.
