What kind of email account is setup - Exchange, HTML, POP? Were you storing you emails in a local PST file? Was your repair related to an Outlook problem?

If you can provide some additional information I am sure we can help.

    Thanks,
    James

It sounds like you emails were being downloaded to a local pst file. Otherwise, they would appear in your POP account's mailbox on the server. Search you hard drive for any files with a .PST extension. You will likely find one called personal.pst or outlook.pst in you C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Outlook Apps\ folder.

If you find either of these files, follow these instructions to add it to you Outlook folder list:

    1. From Outlook, choose File | Open | Outlook Data File
    2. Navigate to the folder where you .PST file is located
    3. Select the .PST file and click OK

The .PST file should now appear in you folder list.

Hope this works for you - definitely let us know. Also, it is a good idea to always backup your system before repairing any program

    Cheers,
    James

    Paublo,
Glad to help! I know how frustrating it is when you can't get to your email!

You can remove the file that doesn't contain your mail. If you ended up with both containing mail, which could have happened, move the mail from the older folder to the newer folder, then remove the older one.

    To remove a folder:
    1. Right click on the folder name
    2. Select Close <Name of folder>
    3. Delete the file from the hard drive using Windows Explorer

Just be sure to backup the files before deleting either one just in case something goes wrong.

    Cheers,
    James
