Exclamation Extract Data from Multiple Folders of Documents to Excel

    Hey Guys,
I have documents in about 500 folders which contain various information in word documents - in which I need to export the addresses into an excel spreadsheet.
Surely there is an easy way to do this through VBA...
    Can someone help please!!!

No, there is no 'easy' way. If there were, you'd have done it. Whilst there are various macros available on this forum for extracting data from Word documents, any such macro needs to be tailored to the content of the documents concerned. The macros in the thread in which you originally posted (http://www.vbaexpress.com/forum/show...el-spreadsheet) -from which your post has been split off to a new discussion - shows that clearly enough. Simply telling us you have:
about 500 folders which contain various information in word documents - in which I need to export the addresses into an excel spreadsheet
is nowhere near enough information to work with.
    Cheers
