    Customize PPT slides using Excel

Hi! I'm currently using PowerPoint 2010 (but I have access to newer versions) and I'd like to customize PowerPoint presentations quickly and easily for different clients. Ideally, this would consist of a master file in Excel where values can be altered which would change different components of the PPT slides. For instance, I'd like to modify a cell in Excel which contains the client's company name which would then alter that value in different places in the PPT slides.

At this point, I'm just wondering if this scenario is possible using VBA. I'm just seeking general advice on the subject. I don't have experience with VBA and would ultimately contract this out if this scenario is possible.

    Thanks in advance!

It's definitely possible. There are a couple of PlugIns that might do what you need off the shelf

We have Simple Merge which merges text from a CSV file and images into a PowerPoint Template file containg fields like <Company> <Director Name> etc
Steve from PPTools has a more featured Add in PPTMerge.
