Question Is this possible in Word?

    KEM FLOW PUMP
    KENT FLOAT
    MEETEC MEMBRANE
    MEMB DOZER
    MEMBRANE ELBOW
    MEMBRANE HOUSING

He wants entry suggestions for all the above spare names like the word application does it for the word "September" when we start typing "Sep".

    Examples:
When he types "P" the following entries has to come in a suggestion list:
    POST CARBON
    PRE CARBON
    PRE FILTER HOUSING

    for "PR"
    PRE CARBON
    PRE FILTER HOUSING

    Possible in word?

    P.S:
Kindly excuse if the question is very elementary.

No. Not in the context that I think you are asking. When you type Sept in Word, it prompts you with September because 1) Word (or someone) has created a BuildingBlock named September, 2) In Options\Advanced\Editing settings you have the feature Show AutoComplete Suggestions turned on and 3) The buildingblock named September is unique enough that Word has deduced that this what you might want completed.

There is no change event in Word that triggers as you type i.e., type P and trigger some process to show a list.

What you are describing is possible in Userform ComboBoxes and through a query of a database listing, but not within the word document itself.

As Greg says, this is not possible, but it can be arranged, and co-incidentally I have an template that will do this - See attached.
You will need the workbook, also attached, and the first time you run the process you will need to tell the process where to find that workbook. After that it will remember the location. You can add to or subtract from the list.
