Sending "text message" to a phone

I need to sent a "text message" to several different phone numbers based on various criteria in the database. As the user makes changes, different people need to receive notifications of the changes.

I can send emails, but users are telling me they prefer a text message.

Is there a simple way of doing this through VBA?
