    Add a Calculated filed in pivot table to calculate percentage of adjacent column

    Hi
    i need help in inserting a calculated field for obtaining RT MET % percentage "Y" in the "D" column with Total in the "E" column

    example : =D9/E9 , but this should be in a calculated field for the pivot itself.

    Please help

    you would use the pivot table context ribbon to manage/add calculated fields.
    my recollection from excel 2007 was that this was not intuitive.

    your best bet is to do a google search for pivot table calculated field and follow one of the tutorials (there are many out there)

    as far as creating the field you are looking for, check the 'display as' options for the field, as the 'display as percentage of total' could give what you are looking for.
