    Insert/Choose tables with macros

    Hi there,

I'd like to create a file where others can create a test/exam by choosing from a selection of tables.

For example, there should be a macro for "Insert Multiple Choice", one for "Insert Cloze Test" and so on.

At the moment, I am using two files. One contains all the different "test types", which can be copied into the other file. However, I'd like to do it by using macros or something "simpler", so other people only need to press one button.

So can I somehow (and if, how?) accomplish this? I have to say that I am not very familiar with macros etc.

I thank you very much for any kind of help!

You don't need macros. In your test template, save all of your various table format as building blocks to one of the BuildingBlock Galleries e.g. CustomTables or Custom1, Custom2, etc.

Then add the BuildingBlock gallery to your template QAT or Ribbon. Users then simply pick the table design they want from your gallery.
