Message when you try to open the file

    Good afternoon,

I am trying to open a spreadsheet and the following message appears.

"Excel can not open the Logic.xlsx file because the file format or file extension is not valid, make sure the file is not corrupted, and the extension matches the file format"

Could someone suggest a way out?

    Thank you

    That usually means that

    1. it's not really an Excel file even if it ends with .xlsx, or

    2. the file is corrupted

You can try to rename it as .TXT file and open it with Notepad

A normal XLSX starts with PK and looks sort of like
