Paste Link is greyed out during Paste Special

I created a graph in a file, I tried to copy and paste link to another file, but the paste link is grayed out in Excel 2016

Any help would great

I think a standard paste does link to the original data, but if you were to add series to the original chart it wouldn't reflect in the copied chart.

In the previous version of Excel, one could paste-link a chart, and any changes in the original would reflect the linked chart.

I do not know why this command is grayed out in 2016, and not able to do that.
