Is it possible to search for words or symbols in files?
The macro, when it is launched must be able to give me the possibility to indicate which folder contains the files or the individual files to analyze and the sheet in which to insert the results. In the moment that I indicate the path to follow to macro must indicate in the report sheet the list of the names of the files contained or selected by creating a hyperlink and for each file must indicate the number of words or symbols contained within the whole file ( referred to all the sheets of which the file is composed). I will insert the symbols and / or words will be indicated in the whole line (so will not be only those you see currently). Moreover, when I insert other files in the folder and launch the macro again, the described procedure will only affect the new files without deleting the results already extracted.
