Show PPTX files that are open

Dear all. My last request on this great forum. A colleague has asked, and I am unable to assist, how to show filenames that are currently open in PowerPoint, in a 'scroll' box on a ribbon, rather than the click down option on the View ribbon. I do not think this is possible? We use Office 2016. Thank you.

Possible. but very tricky if you are not an expert. You would need to write an AddIn that reacts to the presentation open / close event.
Doesn't the Switch Window dropdown more or less show this anyway.
