    VBA Sheet Linking Issue

    Hi all,

I have a workbook with many sheets and each sheet has macros. I need to copy one sheet into its own workbook and preserve the macros while having no external file links. When I try a simple Right click on the sheet tab and copy sheet, the sub routines attached to the macro buttons on the new sheet point back to the original workbook. How do I get the macro buttons to look at the sub routines on the new sheet automatically?

I can manually change them, but the application I need requires the process to be automatic. Is there a setting I am missing?

    Thanks for help in advance.

Are the macros on the worksheet's code page, or in a standard module?

Maybe a lot more information or a small sample workbook will help
