So I have a weird problem with one of my users (she is the only one affected by this, no one else) that uses outlook 2016 (exchange).

Whenever she sends me a file, outlook truncates the filename to 72 characters and then add three dots/periods at the end followed by the file extension.

For example:
In email: PLOG - Gold Medal - 2019.10.16 - MA SO FL MW ONLY - (+GRO) (FRO) Bread I....xlsb
Should be: PLOG - Gold Medal - 2019.10.16 - MA SO FL MW ONLY - (+GRO) (FRO) Bread Innovations.xlsb

The current workaround is to "manually add" (i.e. insert--> add attachment) for each file instead of the normal drag and drop method of putting attachments in emails.
The file is not truncated on her desktop or other folders on the computer.
I've been google'ing this the last few days and the only real thing I have some across has been this MS article which is how we discovered the workaround but that was identified in outlook 2013.

does anyone have an idea of what is going on? do you think its a user profile problem? Thanks in advance!
