If there can only be one value for AAA, why does your results table have 3 rows?

I fail to see how the second set of results will differ from the first. The first already gives a breakdown, albeit it refrs to 1,2,3 not AAA, BBB, CCC.

You could use: =VLOOKUP(E$13,INDIRECT("'"&"All Universe Stocks Schemewise"&"'!"&$C14),2,FALSE) on your second example.

Thanks for solution its works. Actually I got answer already in first attempt as per xld sir & its right but I was confused. Now I understood my mistake. Both formula gave me same answer.
