    How to share an Excel file containing a macro on the network

    welcome everybody
    Is there a possibility to share an Excel file that contains a macro on the network so that it works on multiple users at the same time

    Yes, a shared workbook does allow macros but you cannot edit them once it is shared. See here for more info.

    Every network is unique; talk to your network administrator about the best method to accomplish what you desire.

    If they are entering and saving Data, a Shared Excel file is not a good method.

    For example, when I designed an Estimator for the sales team of a construction company, a Shared file worked well because all the Data for each Estimate and Sale was stored in a New Workbook... No data was stored in the Shared file;
    I expect the student to do their homework and find all the errrors I leeve in.
